Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks motivated engineering students for a full-time internship focused on civil/structural investigations. You will perform site inspections, document conditions, and prepare AutoCAD drawings for proposed repairs.

You will use SAP2000, MathCAD, and Excel to analyze and present results, with valid driving and travel up to three days. The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and collaboration with a national team on diverse projects in

Qualifications

• Three years of college in Civil engineering or physics/science.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Experience with field investigations and inspections is preferred.
• Proficient in CAD and office apps.

Responsibilities

• Site visits to inspect existing structures and document conditions.
• Create and review drawings detailing proposed repairs or retrofits.
• Perform structural analysis using SAP2000 and related tools.
• Organize calculations and data in MathCAD and Excel.
• Prepare technical reports conveying analysis results.
• Internships are full-time (40 hours/week) Mon–Fri; travel up to 3 days.
