Job summary

Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) seeks a student intern to support civil/structural investigations in Saint Petersburg, FL. You will assist consultants on site and in the lab, review files, and help prepare technical reports.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s in civil/structural/architectural engineering, a minimum 3.30 GPA (preferred), a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel up to three days. Flexible scheduling with 32–40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree related to civil, structural or architectural engineering. Must have completed at least Freshman year.
• GPA 3.30 or higher preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation; travel for trips of three days is possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist ESi consultants during site and laboratory-based forensic inspections.
• Assist ESi consultants in file review and report writing.
• Document artifacts and evidence using photography, videography, notes, and measurements.
• Internships are full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday (8am–5pm).
• If enrolled in college, may take no more than 2 classes during the internship and must work at least 32 hours/week.
