Valmont Industries, Inc. seeks a highly motivated Civil Engineering Intern for its Global Utility Division in the Valley, NE area.

You will participate in design and analysis with senior engineers, learning best practices and contributing to real-world projects with global impact. Ideal candidates are rising juniors or seniors in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering, with CAD proficiency and coursework in structural analysis and steel design.

Formación

• Rising junior or senior pursuing Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering at an ABET‑accredited college.
• Completion of Statics and Dynamics coursework.
• Proficiency with CAD applications and ability to create 3D models.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Coursework or experience in Structural Analysis, Steel Design, and Mechanics of Materials; advanced CAD skills.

Responsabilidades

• Actively participate in design and analysis processes, recommending improvements to design criteria and drafting procedures.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Service, QA, and Engineering to understand the product development process.
• Apply and expand design knowledge while considering manufacturability and efficiency of final designs.
