Valmont is seeking a highly motivated Structural Engineering Intern for the Coatings Division in Valley, NE. You will work under the guidance of seasoned engineers, contributing to foundational assessments, load calculations, and material evaluation. This paid internship is flexible through summer and may lead to a full-time role after graduation.

You will gain hands-on experience, exposure to multiple divisions, and participation in project work with senior leadership. Spring/Summer 2027 start.

Competenze

• Rising junior or senior pursuing a Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college or university.
• Proficiency with CAD applications and ability to convert drawings to 3D models.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Mansioni

• Model the company's core values and contribute to structural engineering projects.
• Learn from the Structural Engineering Manager, P.E., S.E.
• Inspect properties to assess foundations and building structures.
• Field measure, perform load and capacity calculations.
• Evaluate materials and provide technical advice.
• Prepare reports, designs, and drawings.
