Job summary

Hanwha Ocean EPU in Houston seeks a Civil & Structural Engineer to deliver discipline engineering for foundations, grading, drainage, and plant support infrastructure. You will coordinate with process, piping, and mechanical teams to ensure civil deliverables support overall project execution.

The role requires 4–8 years of relevant experience, knowledge of IBC/ASCE codes, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and STAAD.Pro. On-site work in Houston, TX is expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
4–8 years in project-based environments.
Strong understanding of discipline engineering and document prep.
Ability to coordinate interfaces with multiple disciplines.
Familiar with US codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC).
Experience with civil/structural modeling and drafting.

Responsibilities

Perform civil/structural engineering for foundations, drainage, grading.
Prepare calculations, specs, and design docs.
Review geotechnical data and site constraints.
Coordinate with process, piping, mechanical, electrical teams.
Provide technical clarification during construction.
Participate in design reviews and risk assessments.
