Job summary

Audubon is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Associate III to join our Houston team. You will perform civil/structural engineering assignments related to designing equipment, components, structures or systems, under general supervision.

The role emphasizes preparing specifications, performing calculations, reviewing drawings, coordinating with clients and vendors, and ensuring projects meet schedule and budget while adhering to HSSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
• ABET Accredited Institution preferred.
• Civil/Structural Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare basic to advanced level specifications for project assignments detailing client requirements, design codes, and vendor drawing needs.
• Prepare engineering sketches, perform calculations and develop analysis models for moderately complex projects.
• Review and approve vendor drawings for compliance with project specs.
• Interact with clients, subcontractors, vendors and other consultants to communicate requirements and progress.
• Manage workload, budgets and project resources to meet schedule and cost targets.
• Adhere to HSSE standards and engineering checking/approval procedures.
