• Serve as the civil/structural engineering lead and project manager for assigned overhead crane and material handling projects.
• Travel to customer facilities to conduct field investigations and structural evaluations for proposed or existing overhead crane installations.
• Evaluate existing buildings and supporting infrastructure, including columns, beams, roof structures, crane runways, foundations, connections, and other structural components as applicable.
• Perform civil and structural engineering calculations, analysis, and design for crane systems and associated supporting structures.
• Develop practical structural solutions for new installations as well as modifications to existing customer facilities.
• Collaborate with the internal engineering team on product design and development, ensuring crane products and systems meet customer‑specific structural and technical requirements.
• Translate customer needs and field conditions into clear engineering requirements, designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Review engineering drawings and designs for accuracy, constructability, code compliance, and alignment with customer requirements.
• Manage project scope, schedules, engineering deliverables, customer communications, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering activities from concept and initial site evaluation through detailed design, manufacturing, installation, and project completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering
• Strong understanding of structural analysis, design principles, and applicable building and structural codes.
• Experience evaluating existing structures and developing solutions for new construction, modifications, and structural reinforcement.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and develop practical, cost-effective structural designs.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Excellent professional communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, engineers, designers, manufacturing personnel, and other stakeholders.
• Comfortable traveling to customer sites for field investigations, meetings, and project‑related activities.
