Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
• 0-2 years of professional experience is preferred.
• Completion of Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (FE) and certification as an EIT with a state licensure board is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic engineering design work on construction drawings and reports using applicable design software.
• Research design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirements and report findings to the team.
• Perform revisions to construction drawings marked up by senior team members.
• Participate in internal team and project meetings; provide clear verbal or written communication.
• Perform engineering design calculations based on codes and regulations and apply to tasks.
• Compare design options and due diligence findings to produce exhibits and reports.
• Learn governmental laws and adapt engineering techniques in project design.
• Gain experience in all facets of engineering design.
