Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience required.
• FE exam and EIT certification preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and design software (AutoCAD/Civil 3D, AutoTurn, BlueBeam Revu).

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, perform intermediate design work including construction drawings, calculations, reports and manuals using applicable software.
• Research design criteria based on project scope and jurisdictional requirements.
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis based on codes and regulations.
• Document design options and produce detailed studies and reports.
• Revise construction drawings marked up by senior team members and QC reviewers.
• Learn and implement company and client design standards in project designs.
• Participate in team and project meetings and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Gather data through site visits and complete investigation reports.
