Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree (Engineering, Business, Program Management, Operations) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience, or 10+ years with an advanced degree.
  • 5+ years progressive experience in program management, operations, or aerospace/defense programs.
  • Experience leading complex cross‑functional teams in a matrix organization.
  • Proven experience managing cost, schedule, technical execution, and customer commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Program Managers through their life cycle.
  • Support the General Manager in day‑to‑day business oversight to deliver commitments.
  • Develop a pipeline of talent in Program Management.
  • Execute strategic focus to meet delivery commitments, customer satisfaction and growth.
  • Lead bidding efforts and responses to winning proposals.
  • Oversee program cost, schedule, risk management, and product support.
  • Identify and address program challenges with resource allocation or contract changes.
  • Ensure customer commitments are met or exceeded, and present progress reviews.
  • Manage supplier relationships in coordination with Subcontracts Management.
  • Establish cost‑focused performance targets and drive teams to achieve them.
  • Manage significant risks with financial, schedule, and strategic implications.
  • Influence and negotiate with customers to secure commitments.
  • Establish high‑level OEM/customer relationships for long‑term collaboration.
  • Communicate vision to IPTs and stakeholders, aligning with Space market.
  • Plan and monitor collateral budgets; lead value streams with long‑term revenue potential.
