Job summary

Metric Geo is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead civil site development on diverse projects across the Northeast and DMV. You will oversee earthwork, utilities installation, grading, drainage, and site infrastructure while coordinating crews, foremen, and subcontractors.

You must read civil drawings, drive safety culture, and partner with the Project Manager to keep schedules and budgets on track. Travel to project sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a superintendent on civil site development projects.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, drainage and site infrastructure.
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings and plans.
• Proven leadership of field crews and subcontractors.
• Willingness to travel across the Northeast and DMV.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations on civil site development projects.
• Coordinate crews, foremen, subcontractors, equipment and materials.
• Plan sequencing to maintain production and minimize downtime.
• Work with Project Manager to maintain schedules.
• Monitor earthwork, grading, drainage, utilities, and sitework.
• Ensure work follows plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Maintain daily reports and field documentation.
• Mentor foremen and field crews.
• Support project start-up, planning and closeout as required.
