Job summary

French & Parrello Associates in Hackettstown, NJ is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Civil/Site Department. This role focuses on land development and infrastructure projects from design through construction, offering growth and ownership of project coordination.

The successful candidate will lead civil/site design tasks, perform engineering calculations, prepare construction documents and permit applications, and coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• NJ PE license required with registration in good standing.
• Minimum 4 years in civil/site engineering and land development.
• Experience with site plans, grading, utility, and stormwater reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil/site design tasks and coordinate across disciplines.
• Prepare calculations, construction documents, and permits.
• Coordinate with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and review design work.
• Support project scheduling and budgeting; conduct site visits.
