Job summary

Benesch is seeking a Civil Site Intern to join our multidisciplinary team across Raleigh, Charlotte, or Wilmington, NC. You’ll gain hands-on experience in planning, designing, and constructing civil engineering projects while working with experienced engineers and planners.

You’ll support site inspections, drafting, data analysis, and project design, with exposure to feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D (preferred but not required).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Previous internship or field experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Site inspections, technical drafting, data analysis, and project design.
• Assist with feasibility studies, zoning research, and due diligence reporting.
• Prepare and update technical drawings with AutoCAD and Civil 3D; compile/project documentation.
