Job summary

Global Edge Group seeks an experienced Civil Engineer Professional to support major capital projects in energy, chemicals, and industrial infrastructure. The role focuses on heavy industrial plant civil site development, coordinating Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.

You will lead detailed civil design packages and engage in studies, estimates, and multi-discipline coordination to ensure constructible, code-compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 6+ years of progressive design engineering experience in industrial, energy, or chemical plant civil site development.
• Proficiency in site hydrology, hydraulics, earthwork grading, paving design, and underground utilities.
• Knowledge of industry codes (AASHTO, ACI, ASTM, Asphalt Institute, PCA).
• Knowledge of constructability, construction methods, and materials.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute civil site development design packages.
• Model and design using Bentley MicroStation, InRoads, and related tools.
• Prepare specifications, material requisitions, and bid evaluations.
• Review vendor and subcontractor technical documentation.
• Coordinate interfaces between Civil and other disciplines.
• Prepare conceptual studies, design calculations, and quantity take-offs.
• Provide mentorship and check deliverables of junior staff.
