Job summary

B&S Site Development LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to help plan and coordinate site development projects. You will work with field managers and a Project Manager to ensure efficient, on-time completion and alignment with project plans.

The role requires strong organization, communication, and leadership skills, with familiarity in MS Office, Bluebeam, and Excel. On-site work in Virginia is common and safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in related discipline required.
• Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Office, Bluebeam and Excel for collaboration and time management.
• Good time management and analytical abilities.
• OSHA 10/30 certification is required.
• 1+ year construction management experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular meetings with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor budgets, track costs, and adjust forecasts as needed.
• Track schedule milestones and quality metrics against goals.
• Prepare daily logs, weekly updates, and formal reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with field personnel to align plans with field execution.
• Manage material procurement and delivery schedules to meet specs.
• Support scheduling, timelines, and critical path activities.
• Assist with quality control to meet engineering standards.
• Review construction plans and communicate changes to teams.
• Identify and resolve project issues in collaboration with PM and field leadership.
• Prepare RFIs, submittals, change orders, and as-built records.
• Ensure safety compliance and participate in site safety meetings.
• Build relationships with clients, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Visit sites regularly to verify progress and ensure alignment.
