GBA Companies in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a Civil Engineer (Site Development) Intern to assist in developing drawings, calculations, and reports under supervision for municipal and transportation projects.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD and Excel, perform field investigations, collect measurements, and help prepare design documentation for review; travel to project sites and meetings is expected, with emphasis on teamwork and problem solving.

Formación

• Pursuing BS or MS in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• GPA 2.7 strongly preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Excel preferred.
• Finished at least two years of school.
• Campus/community/volunteer involvement is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in preparing engineering drawings, design layouts, and construction documents.
• Perform basic engineering calculations for grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Conduct field investigations, collect measurements, and document site conditions.
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation for review.
• Apply established engineering standards, guidelines, and project requirements.
• Maintain and organize project files, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinates assigned tasks with team members.
• Other duties as assigned.
