Job summary

Middlebury College invites applications for an administrative and programming support role focused on education and prevention around harassment, sexual misconduct, and discrimination. You will work closely with the Civil Rights and Title IX Coordinator to develop and administer programs and educational initiatives.

Compensation is at the Level C student wage rate: $15.40 per hour. The position requires at least 5 hours per week and values graphic design, written and interpersonal communication,

Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design, including print materials and web-based design.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and organizational skills.
• High level of self-direction and ability to work independently.
• Interest in civil rights, anti-discrimination, and/or sexual violence prevention and response.

Responsibilities

• Update web-based information on sexual and dating violence resources, reporting options, and procedures.
• Assist with adaptation of prevention/education materials for students, faculty and staff at all Middlebury locations.
• Research and develop programming initiatives.
• Research policies and best practices on civil rights topics; assist with meetings and event planning, materials preparation.
