Bentley Systems seeks a Resident Consultant to join the OpenRoads Designer (ORD) team and be embedded with the Louisiana Department of Transportation for an extended period.

You will coach, train, and configure ORD for DOT workflows, collaborating closely with Louisiana DOT to meet project goals and standards. This is a full-time, home-based role with periodic on-site visits in Baton Rouge, LA.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience in road design.
• 5 years’ knowledge and experience with ORD and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with drainage, survey, and bridge design is an asset.
• Experience developing training materials and/or recording training videos.

• This is a full-time, home-based position with full-time collaboration with Louisiana DOT.
• Periodic travel to the Louisiana DOT office in Baton Rouge, LA (min four on-site visits annually).
• Requires sitting or standing at will while using a computer.

Position Summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a talented and dedicated professional to join our successful Resident Consultant Services Team. As a Resident Consultant, you will serve as a Bentley OpenRoads Designer (ORD) solution subject matter expert and be embedded with the Louisiana Department of Transportation for an extended period. In this pivotal role, you will provide coaching, training, support, and configuration services for the Louisiana Department of Transportation related to the Bentley ORD solution. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with the Bentley ORD solution, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to user success. Having experience with transportation design and construction workflows is considered an advantage. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a prominent transportation organization.

This is a Home-based role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent experience in road design.
• Possess 5 years’ knowledge and experience with ORD and MicroStation.
• Familiarity with drainage, survey, and bridge design is an asset.
• Experience and comprehensive understanding of infrastructure projects and transportation workflows.
• Be familiar with and have experience configuring Bentley software workspaces.
• Knowledgeable in Bentley software workspaces as they pertain to ProjectWise.
• Experience developing training materials and/or recording training videos.
