Job summary

Cardinal Civil Contracting is seeking a Project Manager to lead civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout in Raleigh, NC. You will manage cross-discipline teams, develop schedules, budgets, and reports, and coordinate with owners, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires 3+ years of PM experience in civil construction, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, and other PM software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience in civil construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing all phases including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; track project progress and prepare reports for management and clients.
• Identify project risks, resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with policies; lead or attend site safety meetings.
