Job summary

gpac is seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager for an established civil engineering firm in the Midwest. This role blends design and project leadership, offering long-term stability in a smaller, well-tenured team environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, a PE or ability to obtain within a year, and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for coordinating diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within ~1 year.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects while remaining involved in technical design.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and design a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Develop plans and designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with internal team members and partnering companies.
• Manage projects from initial planning and design through completion.
• Work on a wide variety of projects across multiple disciplines.
• Primarily work in an office environment with a 40-hour workweek.
• Participate in occasional after-hours presentations as needed.
