Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager for a well-established civil engineering firm in Davenport, IA. The role combines project management with hands-on technical design and offers long-term career growth.

Ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree, PE or ability to obtain within a year, and proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within ~1 year.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage projects while remaining involved in technical design.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and design a variety of civil engineering projects.
• Develop plans and designs using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with internal team members and partnering companies.
• Manage projects from initial planning and design through completion.
• Work on a wide variety of projects across multiple disciplines.
• Primarily work in an office environment with a flexible schedule of ~40 hours per week.
• Participate in occasional after-hours presentations as project needs require.
