Job Title: Civil Project Manager

Job Overview:

A respected engineering consultancy is looking to add a seasoned Civil Project Manager to its growing team in Miami, FL. This hybrid position is ideal for a leader who thrives on delivering high-impact infrastructure projects, guiding teams, and building strong client relationships. The ideal candidate is not only technically sound but also a proactive communicator and mentor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee infrastructure projects, ensuring timely delivery and financial performance aligned with contract expectations.
• Define project scope, manage contracts, and monitor budgets using project management tools.
• Supervise and review engineering deliverables, including plans, calculations, and technical submittals.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external partners including clients, subconsultants, and agencies.
• Serve as the primary client liaison; manage issues proactively and maintain high satisfaction.
• Review designs for quality, compliance, and constructability; serve as Engineer-of-Record as needed.
• Drive business development efforts, build relationships, and identify new project opportunities.
• Manage financials including invoicing, labor tracking, accounts receivable, and profitability reports.
• Track opportunities and pursuits using CRM tools and lead proposal development for key projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and team members; identify training needs and support career growth.
• Support recruitment efforts, onboarding, and team development planning.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Experience: Minimum 6 years in civil engineering with at least 2 years in a project management role post-PE
• Proven track record in client service, team leadership, and project execution
• Proficiency in project management software and financial oversight
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
