Job summary

Giffels Webster is seeking a Project Manager for our Birmingham, Michigan office to lead municipal improvement projects, infrastructure design, and project planning for municipal clients. You will oversee project engineers, coordinate with client teams, and advance multiple projects toward profitable, timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in civil engineering, strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills, and a track record of managing municipal projects with cross-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional engineering experience.
• Must have experience in AutoCAD.
• Experience working with Municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Successful delivery of civil engineering services.
• Coordinating with managers of other disciplines.
• Facilitates and manages the overall civil engineering services of a project.
• QA/QC.
• Leads staff and oversees their workload.
• Coordinates design with other departments while maintaining the client relationship.
• Manage project schedules and prepare monthly invoices.
• Ensure all aspects of our projects are properly completed and profitable.
