Galloway & Company is seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to lead commercial land development projects throughout Florida This position combines project management client relationship management technical oversight and team leadership in a collaborative multidisciplinary environment The ideal candidate has experience managing land development projects from planning and permitting through construction while balancing budgets schedules quality standards and client expectations You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients and a leader for internal project teams helping deliver successful projects across a variety of market sectors
Manage multiple land development projects simultaneously overseeing scope budget schedule quality and overall project performanceServe as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders fostering strong relationships and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycleLead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams through planning design permitting and construction phasesManage commercial land development projects throughout Florida coordinating with municipalities regulatory agencies consultants and contractorsProvide technical oversight for site development projects including grading drainage utility infrastructure permitting and other civil engineering design elementsReview project deliverables to ensure quality accuracy regulatory compliance and alignment with company standards and client expectationsPrepare and review proposals qualification packages contracts project work plans and other client facing materials in collaboration with senior leadershipCollaborate with senior management to resolve complex project challenges secure necessary approvals and support successful project executionLead internal quality control efforts and ensure project deliverables meet company standards and client expectationsMentor supervise and provide technical guidance to engineers and designers supporting professional growth and team developmentSupport business development efforts through client relationship management networking client retention and pursuit of new opportunitiesIdentify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and generate additional project opportunitiesTravel as needed to support client meetings project pursuits and business development activities
Proven experience managing commercial land development projects within the Florida market Strong stormwater design experience including pond design and modeling using ICPR Stormwise software Thorough understanding of Florida statewide stormwater regulations and Water Management District permitting requirements Experience utilizing Bentley software including StormCAD WaterCAD and SewerCAD Demonstrated client management and relationship building skills with the ability to serve as a trusted advisor Previous experience supervising mentoring and developing junior engineers and design staff Experience managing cross functional teams and coordinating with clients consultants contractors and regulatory agencies ExperienceProfessional Engineer PE licenseExperience with Florida land development and permitting processesExperience with AutoCAD Civil 3DExperience with stormwater management drainage or utility designExperience using ICPR StormCAD WaterCAD or similar civil engineering softwarePMP certification
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field 8 years of experience in civil engineering consulting or land development Experience managing commercial land development projects Proven ability to manage project budgets schedules staffing and client expectations Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and permitting authorities Strong communication leadership and client relationship skills Experience supervising and mentoring engineering staff
