Job summary

W3Global is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead engineering projects from design through delivery. You will ensure technical quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction while guiding multidisciplinary teams and managing scope, schedules, budgets, contracts, and risks.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in civil engineering/project management, a PE license, and strong leadership with excellent client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years of civil engineering/project management experience.
• Demonstrated experience serving in responsible charge of engineering projects.
• Experience leading complex or multidisciplinary civil engineering projects.
• Strong background in QA/QC, project financial management, and risk management.
• Proven ability to manage project scope, budgets, schedules, contracts, and resources.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Experience interacting directly with clients, regulatory agencies, and/or the public.
• Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Serve as the responsible professional for overall engineering project design, delivery, and project commitments.
• Provide ethical leadership, sound judgment, and accountability for technical quality, financial performance, and client expectations.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Establish and manage project scope, schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.
• Coordinate engineering design, plan production, and project delivery to meet established deadlines.
• Lead project-level QA/QC, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and professional standards.
• Provide high-level technical oversight and direction without being primarily responsible for drafting or modeling.
• Guide engineering teams in developing sound, defensible engineering solutions and take responsibility for key design decisions.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and support client communication and satisfaction.
• Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts, amendments, and scope changes.
• Manage project financials, engineering economics, risk exposure, and profitability.
• Address and negotiate technical, contractual, and schedule-related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate project communications to ensure clarity, responsiveness, and alignment across teams.
• Mentor engineers and project staff and promote a strong culture of professional development.
• Ensure all project work complies with company standards, safety policies, applicable regulations, and professional engineering obligations.
