Job summary

DCI Engineers in Spokane, WA is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our team on site development projects. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality designs for grading, drainage, utilities and roads.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of civil engineering experience, knowledge of stormwater design, and strong communication skills. We offer a collaborative, growth-minded culture and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of civil engineering experience.
• Experience with grading, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Familiarity with stormwater modeling and technical information reports.
• Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development design including grading, drainage, sewer, water, erosion control, and road design.
• Coordinate design details with engineering and drafting teams.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work.
• Attend design meetings as directed by the Project Manager.
• Review submittals, prepare technical reports, conduct conveyance calculations, and write observation reports.
