Job summary

Talent Corps seeks a Civil Project Engineer in Abilene, TX to support large-scale data center and commercial construction projects. This full-time, on-site role focuses on civil site development and ongoing project coordination.

The ideal candidate has 2–5+ years in construction or civil engineering, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with civil scopes and MS Office. On-site work in Abilene is required, with a clear path toward project management.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of experience in construction or civil engineering (Project Engineer or similar role preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience with civil scopes such as grading, utilities, or site development strongly preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents in daily project operations.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination of civil scopes.
• Track project progress, quantities, and productivity.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Assist in cost tracking, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Review construction drawings and specifications for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control requirements.
• Help maintain project schedules and identify potential delays or risks.
