Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join our Owner's Rep team in Abilene, TX or San Antonio, TX with Data Center experience. You will coordinate MEP disciplines and lead on-site processes to ensure successful project delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s in a related field and 5+ years of construction management experience, with preference for Data Center and General Contractor backgrounds. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Data Center and General Contractor experience preferred; CSA and MEP construction management experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project and other PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP designs with architectural and structural disciplines to identify and resolve conflicts (clash detection).
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor installation and commissioning activities on-site for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other building systems.
• Manage contractors and vendors to ensure adherence to project timelines and deliverables.
• Lead testing and commissioning activities and ensure successful handover of MEP systems.
• Ensure that all MEP works are executed safely and in compliance with local codes and standards.
