Timmons Group is seeking Civil Project Engineers at various levels to join our Land Development group in Ellicott City, MD. Projects range from multi-family, mixed-use and large-scale industrial developments to public works. You will work with a team to bring clients’ visions to life.

A bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil engineering is required, along with EIT. Ideal candidates have 2–8 years’ land development experience and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil site designs.

Competenze

• A bachelor or master's degree in civil engineering is required.
• EIT certification required.
• 2–8 years of professional experience in land development civil engineering.
• Experience with civil site plans including layout, utilities, grading & drainage is a plus.
• AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Design portions of a project using Civil 3D and related software.
• Perform calculations and use engineering formulas to solve problems.
• Prepare specifications and select materials, installation, inspection and payment items.
• Develop design details and complete plan sets.
• Prepare objective summary reports for project work or inspections.
• Assist in preparing civil engineering and construction cost estimates.
• Conduct field observations, inspections, and data collection.
• Coordinate with client staff and internal design team.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
