Job summary

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our Land Development practice in Ellicott City, MD. You will lead diverse projects from multi-family and mixed-use developments to public infrastructure, guiding zoning entitlements, site plan approvals, and construction support.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and help drive business development in a fast-paced environment that values collaboration and design excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional licensure (P.E., L.S. or equivalent) in applicable states.
• 6+ years of land development experience.
• Strong project management and client communication skills.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and related software.

Responsibilities

• Lead design efforts using Civil 3D and modeling technologies.
• Oversee project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Prepare technical specifications and cost estimates.
• Work to complete design details and plan sets.
• Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to business development.
