Civil Project Engineer II/III - Renewable Energy Structural Design

Timmons Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer II/III - Structure & Bridge Design candidate for our Raleigh, NC office or for remote work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform design of steel piles and steel connections.
• Design cast-in-place concrete slabs.
• Understand renewable energy terminology.
• Contribute to project scope, schedule, and budget development.
• Assist in project and task management.
• Support marketing and proposal efforts.

Skills/Requirements

• Bachelor's in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• At least 2 years of solar structure design experience.
• PE license is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with LPile, Mathcad, Excel, and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Excel/AutoCAD interoperability is a plus.
