Job summary
Jobot is seeking a Civil Engineer to join our land development, utilities and drainage design team in Fargo, ND. You will design and permit construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage, stormwater management, water/sewer and roadways, coordinating with project managers and regulatory agencies.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering and a Professional Engineer license, with AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency and strong communication and writing
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer license required.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office required; Hydraflow Storm Sewer, Hydrograph, and WaterCad preferred.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Experience with land development design preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design and permitting of construction plans for site layout, grading, drainage and erosion control.
- Design of stormwater treatment and conveyance, water and sewer, roadway, pump stations and force mains.
- Coordinate technical evaluations and designs; produce technical reports.
- Communicate with team members; coordinate submittals and regulatory approvals.
