Core States Group is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to manage the planning, design, and construction of diverse civil projects. You will coordinate across teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to high quality standards, while collaborating with Hurley & Stewart teams and leveraging Core States Group resources.

The role requires PE licensure, 5+ years of site development design, and strong experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• PE license is required; ability to obtain additional states.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in an engineering or construction firm.
• 5+ years of site development design experience.
• Proven experience in project management and client relationships.
• Hands-on contributor while leading the Engineering function as SME.
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency including grading tools, alignments, profiles, corridors, surfaces.
• Ability to identify practical uses for company-approved AI tools to improve team processes.

Responsabilités

• Prepare construction plans, feasibility reports, cost estimates, drainage reports with little supervision.
• Coordinate with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit applications.
• Prepare grading plans, profiles, road design using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Research regulatory requirements and design standards.
• Perform detailed calculations for storm water facilities, utilities, and roadways.
• Collaborate with drafters and staff to complete projects on time and budget.
