Job summary

Snyder Civil Engineering, LLC seeks an engineer to execute planning, design, permitting, bidding, construction administration, and field support for infrastructure projects. You will independently manage multiple tasks with limited guidance, while supporting project teams with technical expertise.

The role involves regular field assignments across Connecticut, a hybrid work arrangement with approval, and opportunities to mentor junior staff. A valid CT driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) license in CT preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or related AutoCAD products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project team members, delegate tasks, mentor staff, and provide technical guidance.
• Prepare detailed plans, specifications, cost estimates, and engineering reports for planning, permitting, and construction.
• Coordinate QA/QC processes to ensure deliverables meet industry standards.
