Job Details

Job Description: Provides project design and drafting, preparing plans, drawings, and figures to support multiple simultaneous civil engineering and geologic projects. Responsible for task implementation and completion. Assists with company business development and maintaining client relationships and satisfaction with project deliverables. Coordination is required with co-workers for task assignments, deliverables and technical training. Task leadership, self-discipline and attention to detail is required.
Work Assignments: Your project work assignments will include utilizing AutoCAD software to prepare plans, drawings, and figures; cost estimating; quantity estimating; and maintaining digital file system. Field assignments could include groundwater sampling; site reconnaissance/initial evaluations; construction observations; flow measurements; and data collection/site assessment duties. Field assignments are required in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to walk on uneven terrain and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Types of Projects: The types of projects in which you will be involved will include, but not be limited to: civil design; water resources; storm water management; geotechnical investigations; construction quality assurance; wastewater collection and treatment; environmental permitting and compliance; environmental site assessments and remediation; and solid waste management. Typical projects involve heavy civil construction, site development, public works infrastructure, river/stream stabilization, and geologic/geotechnical modeling.
