Overview

Bring your engineering passion, collaboration, and expertise to HGA! We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Civil Project Engineer to join our Milwaukee, Wisconsin team working on a variety of project types around the country.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate civil engineering solutions for project types including commercial, government, healthcare, and higher education.
• Manage tasks independently and collaborate with the Architecture/Engineering team to deliver high-quality, timely, and innovative solutions.
• Complete site engineering tasks such as site layout, grading plans, utility design, erosion control, and stormwater management.
• Prepare detailed design and documentation aligning with client needs, schedules, and budgets.
• Perform civil engineering design tasks including roadway and parking layout, pavement design, site grading, stormwater management, and utility design.
• Conduct engineering calculations for earthwork, stormwater, utility sizing, and pavement design.
• Communicate with regulatory authorities and prepare documentation for site plan approvals and permits.
• Support construction phases including site visits, reviewing submittals, addressing change orders, and preparing punch lists.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an EAC-ABET accredited program (licensed professional engineer preferred).
• At least 8 years of experience in designing site improvements for relevant project types.
• Proven ability to handle the design of site improvements and related engineering tasks.
