Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support land development projects from design through approval
• Design stormwater systems, grading, and utility layouts in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Prepare permitting documents for NJDEP, FHA, NJDOT, and local boards
• Coordinate with agencies including the Pinelands Commission and local municipalities
• Manage site plan submissions, technical reviews, and responses
• Collaborate with contractors and surveyors, including occasional site oversight

What We’re Looking For

• EIT certification required; PE license in NJ preferred
• 2–5+ years in civil/site development, ideally in NJ land use and stormwater management
• Experience with NJDEP, FHA, TWA permitting processes
• Familiarity with NJDOT standards and local municipal approvals
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Hydrocad, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Local to Ocean/Monmouth Counties or within commuting distance to Jackson, NJ

Additional Considerations

• Experience with Pinelands approvals is a plus
• Prior work in a small firm or entrepreneurial setting beneficial
• Must be able to be on-site 4–5 days/week (flexibility for 1 remote day may be earned)
