Haley Ward is seeking a Project Engineer to plan, organize, and oversee project activities to ensure successful completion within established guidelines, schedules, budgets, and QA/QC policies. Typical projects involve Land Development & Municipal Infrastructure Civil Engineering, focusing on municipal water, sewer, roadway infrastructure, dams, site planning, stormwater management, permitting, and land development.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting project teams in preparing effective plans and specifications
• Performing engineering computations for complex projects
• Communicating with governmental/regulatory staff and representing clients at hearings or meetings
• Overseeing quality control and reporting project status to the Project Manager
• Ensuring compliance with codes, policies, and standards
• Designing project plans and specifications
• Advising field engineers, contractors, and inspectors during construction
• Collaborating with the Project Manager on strategy and project impacts
• Assisting in preparing project proposals, scope, schedule, and resource estimates
• Promoting new business opportunities

Qualifications needed:

• BSc in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience
• Professional Engineer registration
• Strong mathematical skills
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or similar software
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.
