Job summary

CPH is seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our Civil/Municipal team in Sanford or Jacksonville, FL. The role involves assisting in project planning, documentation, and quality control across site design for commercial projects.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 2+ years of site design experience, and an EI/EIT certification or the ability to obtain it. Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 per year with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2+ years of site design experience; commercial projects a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Civil 3D, grading, drainage and ICPR is highly preferred.
• EI/EIT Certification (or ability to obtain) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing project plans including scope, timeframe, and budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation such as reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in preparation and evaluation of proposals.
• Ensure projects meet engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and present progress reports and updates on project status.
• Design and develop engineering solutions, including drafting and drawings.

Compensation:

$75,000 - $90,000 / year

Duties Include

• Assist in the development of projects plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.


• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.


• Conducts inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.


• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.


• Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.


• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.


• Ensure the projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.

Requirements
