Job summary

CPH is seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our Commercial team in Sanford or Jacksonville, FL. The role supports project management through technical and administrative tasks across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include planning, design, drafting, inspections, reporting, and ensuring conformance with standards and regulations. A Bachelors in Civil Engineering and EI/EIT are required, with 2+ years of site design experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 2+ years of site design experience; Commercial projects a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Civil 3D, grading, drainage, and ICPR preferred.
• EI/EIT certification (or ability to obtain) required.

• Assist in development of project plans, including scope, timeframe and budget.
• Prepare and maintain reports, drawings and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Support research and analysis for project design and development.
• Ensure design work complies with industry standards and regulations.

CPH is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Architecture firm that ranks in the nation’s Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine. We are seeking a Civil Project Engineer, EIT to join our dynamic Commercial team in Sanford or Jacksonville, FL!

The Civil Project Engineer supports project management activities by providing technical and administrative support throughout the project’s lifecycle. This role involves assisting with project planning, design, and execution while gaining hand on experience in best engineering practices and project management.

Duties Include

• Assist in the development of projects plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Conducts inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
• Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.
• Ensure the projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and/or present progress reports, including updates on project status.
• Design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting, and drawings.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
• 2+ years of experience with site design projects; experience with Commercial projects is a plus
• Hands on experience with Civil 3D, Grading, Drainage, and ICPR highly preferred
• EI/EIT Certification (or ability to obtain) required
