Job summary

CPH is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join the Land Development team in Tampa, FL. You will support project management, assist with planning, design, and execution, and gain hands-on experience in best engineering practices.

Qualifications include a BS in civil engineering, 4+ years on site design/land development, and proficiency with Civil 3D, grading, drainage, and ICPR. EI/EIT is required; PE is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of project plans, including scope of work, timeframe, and budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and quality control to maintain high standards.
• Conduct research and analysis to support project design and development.
• Ensure the design and engineering work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation and evaluation of proposals.
• Ensure projects comply with engineering standards, regulations, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and/or present progress reports, including updates on project status.
• Design and development of engineering solutions, including drafting and drawings.

Department: Civil/Municipal

Location: Tampa, FL

Compensation: $75,000 - $111,000 / year

The Civil Project Engineer supports project management activities by providing technical and administrative support throughout the project’s lifecycle. This role involves assisting with project planning, design, and execution while gaining hand on experience in best engineering practices and project management.

Duties Include

• Assist in the development of projects plans, including the scope of work, timeframe, and budget.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, including reports, drawings, and specifications.
