Job summary

Jobot seeks an engineer to support design and analysis from our Germantown headquarters, working on hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, utility plans, and construction support within a collaborative project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 0–10 years of engineering experience as stated in the posting.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engineering analysis and design for the project team.
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis for storm drainage and stormwater management.
• Prepare utility plans for water and sewer infrastructure development.
• Prepare construction plans and cost estimates.
• Assist construction management professionals in the field.

Job Details

Essential Job Functions:

• Conduct engineering analysis and design in support of the project team Perform hydraulic and hydrologic analysis to determine engineered solutions for storm drainage and stormwater management applications
• Prepare detailed utility plans and profiles and engineered plans for water and sewer infrastructure development Prepare preliminary and final vertical and horizontal construction plans
• Prepare cost estimates
• Assist construction management professionals in the field

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited engineering institution 0‐10 years of experience
• EIT preferred (or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D
• Ability to work independently in a team environment and effectively manage time
