Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking an Operations Analyst to support growth and efficiency by analyzing financial, project, and market data. You will develop KPIs, dashboards, and data-driven insights across the Civil operations portfolio, partnering with multiple departments to optimize decision making.

You will leverage Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems to improve reporting, processes, and profitability while aligning with the company's strategic Plan and objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Analytics, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 4–7 years of related experience in business operations, financial analysis, project controls, data analytics, construction operations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and BI tools; KPI and dashboard development.
• Experience with ERP systems and reporting databases.
• Knowledge of utility construction or project-based construction environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze operational, financial, and project performance metrics and dashboards with data integrity.
• Collaborate with internal support groups to ensure policy compliance.
• Evaluate workflows and standardize procedures; propose process improvements.
• Keep teams updated on internal apps and training.
• Forecast, model scenarios, and analyze market trends to identify growth and risk.
