Job summary

Rango Inc. in Monahans, TX is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex civil and mining-related projects in West Texas.

You will own design, estimation, and construction execution for leach pads, tailings, embankments, and water control features, coordinating with engineers and field teams. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a mining or civil engineering field, 5 years of heavy civil experience, and the ability to travel up to 50% while delivering on tight deadlines in a fast-paced

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mining or civil engineering, construction management, or another engineering or technical field from an accredited university.
Five (5) years related experience including heavy civil background.
Proficiency in engineering software including CAD design, GIS, or mine planning software.
Expert in use of MS Excel, MS Project, and other project management tools.
Ability to travel up to 50% and work independently on multiple projects.

Responsibilities

Design and develop estimates for heavy-civil earthmoving projects (heap leach pads, infrastructure, tailings, etc.).
Manage construction and implementation of projects after award.
Collaborate with engineers, operations, and project supervisors to meet specs.
Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure design compliance.
Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders.
