Job summary

Rango Inc. in Monahans, TX is seeking a Project Manager to own complex civil and mining projects, including leach pads, tailings dams, and water control features.

The role covers site work in West Texas near El Paso and requires coordinating with engineers and field teams to ensure safety, compliance, and on‑time delivery. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in mining or civil engineering and at least five years of heavy civil experience, with proficiency in CAD, GIS, and mine

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining or civil engineering, construction management, or another engineering/technical field from an accredited university
• Five (5) years related experience including heavy civil background
• Proficiency in CAD, GIS, or mine planning software
• Expert in MS Excel, MS Project, and other project management tools
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong safety and environmental awareness and adherence to procedures
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a fast-changing environment
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Design and develop estimates for heavy civil earthmoving projects (heap leach pads, site development, tailings dams, etc.)
• Manage construction and implementation of projects after award
• Collaborate with engineers, operations personnel, and supervisors to meet specs
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with design
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for stakeholders
