Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy in Hollis Creek area seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to perform civil and mechanical tasks on construction and maintenance projects. Operate excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and more while following safety procedures and maintaining logs.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma, proven equipment experience, valid driver's license (CDL preferred), ability to read blueprints, and willingness to overtime. Good teamwork and communication on site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating heavy civil and mechanical equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in varying weather conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment including excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, backhoes, trenchers, and other construction and mechanical equipment.
• Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment and report larger issues.
• Dig, backfill, and grade trenches, foundations, and other earthwork per specs and blueprints.
• Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines, utility systems, and civil infrastructure.
• Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Adhere to safety regulations, company policies, and environmental guidelines.
• Communicate with supervisors and on-site personnel.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of work performed.
• Perform general labor duties when not operating equipment.
