Job summary

RockSol Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking Civil Materials Technicians to perform soil, concrete and asphalt testing on geotechnical and roadway projects in field laboratories and at client sites.

Responsibilities include collecting samples, logging results, and ensuring quality while adhering to safety policies. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of related experience with demonstrated competence.
• Experience in soils, asphalt and concrete lab and field testing on road projects.
• Valid driver's license with insurable driving record.
• Ability to travel to project work sites for extended periods.
• Ability to work nontraditional or extended hours as needed.
• Basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Current CO certifications in nuclear gauge safety, traffic safety, erosion control, CAPA A and B, ACI, WAQTC.

Responsibilities

• Perform soil, concrete and asphalt laboratory testing using approved methods.
• Gather, test and log samples ensuring quality in all testing phases.
• Perform field testing at project sites under construction.
• Interact professionally with clients and partners.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete required safety training.
• Maintain records of required testing results and certifications.
• Operate nuclear gauge safely per company procedures.
