Aionios LLC is representing an Am Law 100 Civil Litigation Attorney opportunity in Livingston, NJ. The role supports defense matters across employment, complex commercial, professional liability, toxic tort, products liability, and general liability sectors.

You will handle pleadings, depositions, and hearings, while mentoring and collaborating with senior litigators. Remote or hybrid work options are available, with compensation ranging by level and experience.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
• 3+ years civil litigation experience preferred; all experience levels considered.
• Experience in employment, complex commercial litigation, professional liability, toxic tort, products liability, or general liability defense.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Trial experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse range of civil defense litigation matters.
• Manage cases through various stages of litigation.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings.
• Conduct legal research and manage written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Develop case strategy alongside experienced litigators.
• Prepare for and appear at hearings and other court proceedings.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials.
• Work directly with clients throughout the litigation process.

Salary Range: $100,000–$275,000+ depending on level and experience

Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 law firm, is seeking Civil Litigation Attorneys to join its Livingston, New Jersey office. The firm has multiple openings across its defense litigation practices and is interested in attorneys with experience spanning employment, complex commercial litigation, professional liability, toxic tort, products liability, general liability, and related civil defense matters.

What You'll Work On:

• Handle a diverse range of civil defense litigation matters
• Manage cases through various stages of litigation
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive filings
• Conduct legal research and manage written discovery

Compensation & Benefits:

• Associates: $100,000–$165,000
• Senior Counsel / Of Counsel: $140,000–$215,000
• Partners: $190,000–$275,000+
