Job summary

Orionplacement in Newark, NJ is seeking a civil litigation attorney for a full-time on-site position. You will handle matters through all stages of litigation, conduct research, draft pleadings, and collaborate with seasoned attorneys.

Active New Jersey Bar admission is required. Open to attorneys at multiple career levels, from newer to experienced litigators who fit well with our collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Bar admission required.
• Civil litigation experience preferred, with 3+ years.
• Newer and more senior attorneys are encouraged to apply.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
• Comfortable working full-time on-site in Newark.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters through various stages of the litigation process.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Participate in discovery, case strategy, negotiations, hearings, and court appearances as appropriate to experience.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, courts, and other parties.
• Analyze legal and factual issues and develop practical strategies for resolving disputes.
• Manage deadlines, case files, and assigned matters with strong attention to detail.
• Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals across the firm.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
