Stonepath is seeking an experienced civil litigation attorney for a remote role available in New Jersey. The attorney will defend general liability and motor vehicle claims, manage matters end-to-end, and work with senior lawyers and staff to deliver strategic results.

The role emphasizes ownership of cases, direct client contact, and an active courtroom practice, with potential for partnership track depending on performance.

Qualifications

• Admitted to practice in New Jersey with good standing.
• Experience in general liability, automobile claims, or premises liability preferred.
• Ability to manage cases and litigation deadlines independently.
• Experience handling depositions, mediations, arbitrations, hearings, or comparable proceedings.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, communication, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of civil defense matters from assignment through resolution.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, discovery materials, legal memoranda, and client reports.
• Evaluate case exposure and develop litigation strategies.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Represent clients at court appearances, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and motion arguments.

Title: Remote Civil Litigation Attorney (Can be Hybrid if preferred)

Compensation: Up to $225k+, Bonuses and partnership track

Type: Full Time / Remote

A growing litigation practice is looking for an experienced attorney to join their team. This position can be remote and focuses primarily on defending general liability and motor vehicle related claims for a diverse client base.

The attorney will independently manage matters through each stage of litigation while collaborating with experienced lawyers and professional support staff. This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys meaningful case ownership, direct client contact, and an active courtroom practice.
